BHS Senior Henry

Brookline Highschool senior, Henry, was looking for a more natural, wooded venue as the backdrop for his senior portrait session. We ventured to Pratt Pond in Upton, and were lucky to get one of those perfect, October afternoons.

Senior Portraits - Fall

2021 Senior Mary

This September, I had the pleasure of photographing Mary, a Franklin High School senior. Mary requested to have her portraits taken at a number of special places in her hometown, starting with the town common. Featured a beautiful stone gazebo, the gardens were still holding on to their late-summer blooms.

We took this opportunity to capture a few photos of Mary in front of her church and her former elementary school, then headed off to the local pond where she spent many summer days. The evening sunset brought with it the perfect golden-hour glow every photographer loves, just in time to wrap up our session.

Mary, congratulations and I hope you have a wonderful senior year!

A Backyard Wedding…

As with many couples this past year, Kerry and Mike were forced to postpone their big wedding. Although covid may have delayed their big celebration, they were determined to still get married on their intended date. Their closest family came together, and while it wasn’t the big wedding in Maine they originally planned, Kerry and Mike were married in an absolutely perfect, heartfelt ceremony in her parents backyard – officiated by Kerry’s brother, John!

A Boston Engagement

Last week I had the honor of capturing engagement photos for two people I love dearly, Kelley and Steve. I met up with them one perfect summer evening, excited to explore a new park for this session.

Then, they gave me an exciting challenge – incorporate Steve’s other love – his Ducati.

And one last one, to capture a sign of the times. Because, covid.

An intimate wedding at home…

These two are two very special people in my family’s lives. Melissa, one of my dearest friends and her best friend / soon-to-be husband, CJ. As with many couples in March 2020, they were faced with the reality that their big wedding would not be able to happen as planned. After many heartfelt discussions and encouragement from their family and friends, Melissa and CJ proceeded with getting married on their original date, with plans to reschedule the big celebration. A few relatives and friends gathered at Melissa’s childhood home, while the rest of their wedding guests tuned in through Facebook Live, to witness Melissa and CJ exchange vows to become husband and wife.

I felt truly blessed to be able to capture this day for them.

And a huge shout out to my husband, Sean, for stepping up and officiating their ceremony — you rocked it!!!

Dance Choreographer Headshots

For a number of years now, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Worcester State University Dance Company for their Winter and Spring Showcases. In addition to capturing action shots of the shows, we typically take headshot portraits and group portraits of the choreographers, which are displayed at their shows.

Sweet twin girls

So excited to add a check on my photography bucket list… NEWBORN TWINS!! ::squeals::

I’m so happy to share their grand reveal photos with you! Scarlet and Abigail were just shy of 3 weeks young when I had the pleasure of photographing them back in July. I’m so happy to share their grand reveal photos!

Scarlet snoozed through most of her photos, but Abigail was a little more camera shy. When we placed her back to snuggle with her sister, she settled right in and we got these adorable gems:

Aren’t they just the sweetest? Congratulations to mom and dad, I am so happy for you!

A Beach Session…

Cyra grew up on the beaches of the Cape, and has loved creating memories there with her own kids. Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing their family at one of their favorite spots in Sandwich, MA. Even with the crazy wind rolling in, we were able to capture some gorgeous images.
