Emily & Seth’s Maternity

I have to say, this has to be one of my favorite sessions to date!

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, quintessential New England Fall evening for some very special friends of ours, Emily and Seth! Ever since we found out they were expecting a little boy at their gender reveal party a few months back, I’ve been looking forward to taking these pictures for them!

We met up at the Daniel’s Farmstead in Blackstone, MA – a beautiful, historic farm that dates back to 1750 – to capture the celebration of their first pregnancy. And of course we had to incorporate a few with their beloved German Shepard, Jackson, who did a fantastic job posing for mommy and daddy (with a little tennis-ball bribery).

Chinappi Family

This beautiful summer day I had the pleasure of photographing an old friend of mine and her adorable little family. After shooting portraits of her oldest daughter last year, I was very excited to shoot their first family session (with their newest addition)! They are such a cute little family, I always have so much fun working with them.

Oh, and if you happen to be looking to buy or sell your house in the Blackstone Valley area, give Erin a shout! She’s a fantastic local real estate agent.

Lilly Turns 3

This August I had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie, Lilliana, and her family for her 3rd birthday. We met up at Riverbend Farm on a perfect summer evening for this session. We had so much fun running, playing and laughing – and captured so many great shots, it’s so hard to narrow it down!

Gender Reveal

This weekend I was so excited to be a part of this special event from some close friends of ours – a gender reveal! Seth and Emily had their ultrasound on July 1, but decided to wait until their 4th of July party to learn whether they were having a boy or girl! Surrounded by their family and friends, Seth and Emily were very happy to find out they are having a….

Congratulations on your baby BOY (“Buck”)!

An Extended Family Session

As families grow and get busy with their own lives, it can be difficult to get everyone together at one time. Extended family photos and generational portraits offer the perfect opportunity to reconnect, and capture special memories your entire family will treasure forever!

This past winter, I was contacted by a previous client with a special request. Her mother had always wanted professional photos of all of her children and grandchildren together, and while their family from Michigan was in town for the holidays, they wanted to take advantage of that  opportunity to have them taken! A few days after Christmas we met up at Riverbend Farm, and while winter can sometimes be tricky for outdoor sessions (especially with this years record-breaking winter), we really lucked out with the weather!

Cousins picture!

“For the holidays, my mom requested professional portraits of her extended family. After having such a wonderful experience with my daughter’s Senior portraits, I immediately contacted Monique! Monique was able to capture all 15 of us in the most natural setting, incorporating our ideas with many of her own.  She took a personal interest in our entire family and it is so apparent when we see the photos. Her photographs captured our family’s story. I could not have asked for a better experience, or more importantly, such beautiful photos that we will treasure for a long time.” – Cara B.

Sister's Session

Sister’s Session

I had these two beauties in the studio this February. Although they may look like it, I swear they are not really twins, haha! These girls are just so polite and sweet. After their session was done, they were so good about playing horses with my daughter (who had quite a case of the sillies when they were here!). These two girls have been horseback riding since they were 3, which of course started prompting the questions of “mumma, when can I start horseback riding?” as soon as they left! I hope you enjoyed your session and the photos you two! <3

Ariana's 4 Year Portraits

Ariana’s Four!

One of the things I love most about what I do is watching my little clients grow year after year! I’ve been taking Ariana’s annual portraits since she was two years old, and she just keeps getting cuter! She also seems to luck out every year as her sessions also occur right after I purchase new portrait backdrops, so she’s always the first to try them out. Her favorite this year was the pink one, of course!

As with most of my young clients, I have to get creative to keep their attention long enough to capture a variety of images. With Ariana, I promised we could get some photos of her rocking her Queen Elsa ring (for those of you living under a rock, Elsa is one of the sisters from the Disney movie Frozen). I think it was a good deal, and we ended up with what I believe is our best session yet!

Welcome Baby A!

This September I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable, new little family! Baby A was about a week old and so precious (you forget just how little babies are when they’re just born!) I love how Courtney and Daniel’s infatuation with their new daughter is written all over their faces in these photos!

I love when my client’s share pictures of my work displayed in their home! This 20×30″ framed portrait looked absolutely perfect above Courtney and Daniel’s fireplace this Christmas!

“Working with Monique for our first family portraits was an absolute pleasure. She was so patient with our newborn, and captured some precious, candid shots – just amazing! We love showing our album to guests and get nothing but compliments on the moments that were captured.  We will be going back to her soon for our engagement photos.

A Beautiful, Fun Family Session

I want to start off by saying this was one of the most fun family sessions I’ve ever had! We couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous Fall day at one of my favorite locations (River Bend Farm, Uxbridge MA).
K&E are some of the CUTEST kids! It’s very refreshing to see a brother and sister who love and enjoy each other like they do. I love when the adults join in family photos, and Cyra & Dana definitely joined in on the fun! They tickled, danced and played the whole time—and I just kept clicking away to capture it all.
